and unnerve us

mirrors that break
mirrors that remake
mirrors that partake,
sometimes opaque

in our sorrow and delight
witness every plight
that render insight
at blue hours of twilight

mirrors in vain
mirrors in pain
mirrors that notice
our loss and our gain

mirrors when we wondered
mirrors we loathed
mirrors we pondered
when we clothed and unclothed

mirrors on the inside
mirrors between
some on the outside
some seen and unseen

mirrors within mirrors
a mirror, you are too
some for exploration
and some, an inner view..
